Bessie Smith was a famous blues singer from Chattanooga, TN. On September 26 at 2:00 AM Bessie and and her husband Richard Morgan got into a car crash, in result of that Bessie lost her arm since she was putting it out the window the time of the crash. the crash happend when Richard and Bessie couldn’t see the truck that pulled over the side of the road to check its tires. when the truck pulled out Richard try to swerve the truck but failed and the 2 cars collided. Then a doctor on a fishing trip and his friend helped bessie as best they could somebody crashed into the doctors car.
